I am often asked why I opened my own Bed and Breakfast, especially by those who know I'm a retired law enforcement officer. The answer is simple; I wanted to spend time with nice people! I genuinely enjoy entertaining and creative cooking. I also love dogs, and owning the most pet friendly B&B in New Paltz gives me the opportunity to continually make new four legged friends as well.

I'd like to share with you what some of my guests have shared with me. I think it's important that you know how special your stay is to me, and how much pride I take in making sure every detail is in order. With each passing season and each passing year here at my Inn by the Lake, it becomes more and more apparent that it truly is a wonderful life.
