It's no secret that my passion for living here is the proximity to Tillson Lake. It's a short walk to this 22 acre lake which is part of Minnewaska State Park. You will find people kayaking, fishing in a stocked lake, swimming and playing with their dogs. Some of our guests have had their first kayaking experience here, but not their last!

The area is also great for biking and hiking. You can also enjoy cross country skiing and snow shoeing in the winter months, and downhill skiing is less than an hour away at Hunter Mountain, Windham, or Belleayre.

Golf is always close by, and Tillson Lake sits under Gertie's Nose adjacent to the white cliffs of the Shawangunk Ridge. Rock climbing at the Gunks is regarded by many as the "state of the sport".

This area is an outdoor lovers paradise, and here are just a few of my favorite things about living here at my Inn by the Lake...
